First stop was Los Alamos to hang out with my friends there and their kids.
The dogs of course traveled in style, it’s and it’s hard work:
New Mexico is far. Lots of open road:

Los Alamos is in the middle of no-where, on top of a mesa. It’s a pretty steep windy little road to get up there.
There you can see a bunch of the labs buildings on the edge of the mesa:
We had a lovely evening relaxing in front of the fire and taking it easy. We did some prep work for santa to show up later that night.
