Just a short note about a pet peeve I ran into today:

If you leave a voice mail or a message on an answering machine and at the end you leave your phone number wanting me to call you back, you shouldn’t rattle it off at high rate of speed once so it can’t be understood. A while back I learned ( I think from jafo ) that you should slowly speak your call back phone number, and then you should repeat it a second time just in case there was line noise or something else that preventing it being heard. If you rattle off your number and mumble, I probibly won’t be calling you back.
