It was my last weekend out at the ren faire this year, and boy was it a hot one. 🙁
Both days were over 100 they said. I walked in the parade with Merlin both days, and even he was dragging a bit in the sun…

Will put up pictures later. Looks like I might end up doing a short foster of a puppy this week (I’m heading out of town friday). Not sure the few days are really worth it, but it would let me find out if I can handle a puppy and if kurt and merlin would be ok with one around.
Should find out more later today on that.

Well, the puppies are going to be quarentened for another 7-10 days to make sure they are all healthy before fostering.
Thats just fine with me… fits in much better with my travel plans.

However, there was a returned greyhound today that I am gonna foster until I head out of town this weekend. She’s been here about an hour and is doing wonderfully. She learned stairs in about 5minutes. crates fine. Minds fine. Is outgoing and very pretty. Still pending is the meeting between her and the cat, but I imagine that will happen soon.

The folks returning fancy showed up about 5:45 (early from when they said…).

She’s been totally easy. She picked up stairs in about 5minutes watching the other dogs. She totally ignored the cat. She crates well. She ate most of her dinner (and some of kurts). She pottied outside nicely. She took her meds with no fuss. She’s been sleeping for the last hour or so… very mellow for a 3yr old. She’s going to be super easy.
