Bylaws
The governance of the Whig Party shall be in the hands of the Steering Committee, composed of those Factions that are aligned with this party. The chair of the Steering Committee shall be determined in the following manner:

• If the President of the Republic during the previous Turn was a Whig, the Faction that held the Presidency shall be chair.
• Otherwise, the player with the most Faction Votes shall be chair.

The holder of the chair shall be determined after the Primary Election and before the General Election. It is the duty of the chair to compose the party Platform after due consultation with the other members of the Committee. The Platform he submits shall not be put to a vote of the other members.

These bylaws can be altered only with the consent of the chair.
