The Supreme Court
The Court is composed of five members who are nominated by the President and confirmed by the Chamber of Deputies. Each seat is held by a Faction, and a Faction has as many votes on the Court as it has seats. A Faction loses a seat when an Event: Court Vacancy occurs.

The Court's current composition:

  1. Chief Justice: This post is currently vacant.
  2. Senior Associate Justice: This post is currently vacant.
  3. Associate Justice: This post is currently vacant.
  4. Associate Justice: This post is currently vacant.
  5. Associate Justice: This post is currently vacant.

The Procedures of the Supreme Court
Before the Court can review a controversy, a complaint must be filed by a Faction player. To file a complaint, the player must put the matter in the form of a yes/no question and send it to the GM, who will upload the question onto the current caseload board. At that point the Chief Justice (or the Senior Associate Justice if the Chief Justiceship is unoccupied) will set a date by which a decision is due.

After the complaint has been posted, interested parties may post briefs by submitting them to the GM, who will upload them onto the current caseload board. These briefs will lay out arguments for either an affirmative or negative answer to the question.

No later than 10:00 p.m. (ET) on the date set by the Chief Justice, each Faction that holds a seat on the Court must submit a vote to the GM, answering either "Yes" or "No" to the question along with their Opinion arguing for that answer. Majority vote shall prevail, and the GM shall post the results on the current caseload board. By 10:00 p.m. (ET) of the following day, the Chief Justice shall choose one Opinion of the Majority as the Court's Opinion, to function as the Court's interpretation of the matter in question until such time as a future complaint shall overturn that decision. The GM will then move the case into the Archives.

These procedures are laid down by the Court and do not have Legislative standing and cannot be altered by act of the Congress. They may only altered by constitutional amendment or by the Court itself by a majority vote of the members. These procedures may be interpreted by the Court in line with the procedures herein laid down.
